What's the Name all About?
When I was considering starting my own soapbox about recent events in the church I wondered how the Leadership viewed me. After I received my disfellowship "form" letter from the Kentucky state overseer it dawned on me I am just another cog in the machine to be discarded at whim. Webster defines "automaton" as: someone who acts or responds in a mechanical or apathetic way, zombie. That's what the present leadership wants of it's "members". A good member doesn't have a conscience other than the collective "mind" of the presbytery.
The General Assembly with all male members in good standing having a voice in church business has been replaced by the Orwellian idea of Big Brother ALONE represents the "Party" and any dissenters are either assimilated or eliminated.
The below illustration shows what a good member should be according to the present leadership.
This blog will present facts AND opinions, I don't have all the answers, only God has them. I am just an automaton...

Love the robotic symbol. Comes from the old "lost in space" program I beleive. Believe it fits. All of us "misfits that have been dealt with may be considered lost in space, but we are not. Still around, still active, still know some of what is going on.
The old robotic did what it was programed to do. Glad I am not "programmed" the way some others are. Aren't you?
I am just another robotic, I GUESS, but I have no desire to hurt any body,I just wish all of this ugly stuff would come to an end, The Overseer of KY should go on and resign, May God help US all ,, I think I've been DeProgrammed, I love the Lord with all my Heart, and I'll go on serving the Lord till he comes , and I know I'll go with him,,
Please be advised that the name of "Granville Estep" was respected. I do believe he would be appalled at what his son, Don Estep is doing. Don needs to read some history on how his father stood for what is right.
This Blog casts no accusations on Granville Estep. I never knew him, therefore I cannot in good conscience comment on his life.
Don Estep needs to repent of a lot of things.
He was a pastor of a church or you could say a place to go. in his house, because he could not get along with members in the church here in ky.He also is a lair. He sit in His house in Richmond, Ky stating all the time he was pastoring a church in Ivine, Ky. For three Years .

When Jesus caught the woman in the very act of adultry , He didn't drag her out and make a display of her. He didn't even talk with her till her accusers where gone out of her presence..
We need to remember God can restore one back to a rightful standing... BUT, if we say or devulge to much of WHAT WE think we know we can help PUSh a person over the edge.. Comments like:

Are not Wise, and certainly Are not Gentle!!!! Every last bit of this reflects on the church herself!!!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO SKELTONS IN YOUR CLOSET... OR THAT NO ONE IS SURMZING YOU DO, THEY MIGHT TELL ABOUT IT..

I agree 100% with your spirit. This is not edifying to The Body of Christ. I would like to address the theology you cited though:
It's not as though the ministers of KY. didn't try to bring the information they had about Donald Estep to light in a quiet, humble mannor. They called attention to his tendencies and descrepancies, thinking that "men of integrity" at GHQ would take it from there, and do what was right, according to the Word of God.
Instead, their petitions were ignored. So much to the place that, they were forced to bring formal charges against Donald Estep. They didn't want to, they were forced to, due to the fact that no one at GHQ had enough common sense to know that they were dealing with a fraud. Some people probably just got mad at what I said, but like I said, the ministers of KY. already tried it the "easy" way.
Not only was nothing done after the concern was raised at GHQ, but the FORMAL CHARGES agaist Donald Estep were signed for by "NABORS" (at GHQ), then mysteriously dissapeared.
The charges were never addressed, as though they were never recieved.

So to the previous poster: please feel my spirit. I am not validating the previous mean-spirited post. But I do want to pose the question: are you raising as big of a ruckus about the character of the men of which positions are "being created" for, by those at GHQ? Do you support the inconsistancies in the lifestyles of these people?
Please don't say I'm referring to hear-say. There is enough evidence on 1fold and This Site to make even the biggest skeptic whence.

I do not agree with GHQ! I feel they are in the wrong, they have left theocracy! And they have done the peole of KY, In, Oh , Or, Al., wrong!!!!
My compaint is just to who ever stated about Estep being Bi -or gay!!
Now if someone has proof or had , then most deffinetly it should be handled, but if it's a tactic to make him look even worse, than I am against it!!

I must agree with these. Speaking the truth with emotion is one thing. But libel and slander is not only sinful...it's illegal. I have no respect for the man...but I do love his soul. Unless you have valid proof of this...keep it to the tabloid sites and not here. If the opportunity arose, how could you ever be able to minister to this man? You have no foot to stand on. Let us be careful. You can't slander someone then turn around and shout, "Praise the Lord."

I must address this post...
Look at all the Enclosures I have cited and tell me how I have slandered anyone. It's
not slander when you have documented proof. I am not citing hearsay or rumor.
How are the following libel or slander:
- Cancelled checks showing money recieved from a local church.
- Reports to General Headquarters written in his own hand.
- Church resolutions passed by the Assembly.
- Public records of multiple Bankruptcies and Tax Leins.
This is same sort of stuff the at IRS would use to determine his financial status.
What do you consider "valid proof"?
Perhaps you are not viewing the Enclosers in the "Links" section of the blog, if so
please view those documents before saying I "have no foot to stand on".
I would invite you to post some "evidence" that disproofs my assesment of the individual
in question. Point out the flaws in my logic or trail of evidence. If any posts are
short on evidence and long on emotion it is yours in my opinion.
The scripture tells us to speak the truth in love which INCLUDES speaking the truth.

The Ministry and Membership of KY have known of Don's tendencies and financial practices for years. This is why they tried to bring these facts to the attention of GHQ.
When that didn't work, they took it a step further in bringing formal charges against him. Now, that hasn't worked.
Are you honestly telling me you don't see a pattern here? Something's wrong.
When their plea to GHQ went unheard, and their formal charges went unaddressed, they felt impressed to take a stand.
Here, you see the evidence which was presented to Bro. Pruitt and GHQ, and which later accompanied formal charges against Don Estep I.
I have searched in my spirit, and I cannot find justification for your words:

I respect your right to state your opinion, but I can't understand how you could possibly feel this way.
Are you the lady, who after Don Estep's appointment at the General Assembly, went to him on the Assembly floor and kissed him on the cheek? This man still has a living companion.
I saw this with my own eyes. To me, this further substantiates the inconsistancies cited in the formal charges. These charges were, "Conduct unbecoming to a child of God."
It's all on 1fold.
I do not question the facts. To the contrary. I do not argue the facts. I argue the spirit of the tone in which I sense in these posts. Sure his character can be questioned. Just not with such abusive language. I am referring to the sexual orientation of this man. Unless someone has rock hard proof, that is a very dangerous thing to say. I am not saying it is or isn't true. I am just saying that I have seen court cases brought up over such things. The finances of this man are indisputable. But be careful with the other things. I cannot stress that enough.
I, too, agree that unless there is 100% rock-solid evidence about that - it was in bad taste to post, and should be deleted from this post immediately.
However, the other cited instances have been validated 100%.
