We have met the enemy and he is us... sometimes

There is a story about four people. Their names are EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, and NOBODY.

The story goes that there was a very important job that needed to be done. EVERYBODY was asked to do this job. Now ANYBODY could have done this job but NOBODY was willing to do it. Then SOMEBODY got angry about this because it was EVERYBODY'S job to do. Well, EVERYBODY thought that ANYBODY could have done it! But NOBODY realized that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY for not doing the job. Still NOBODY did it. The arguing got worse and finally NOBODY would talk to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY. What a shame that ANYBODY could have done the job andEVERYBODY could have helped SOMEBODY but yet NOBODY did it!

Are you a SOMEBODY or a NOBODY?

I was wondering. In the Alabama State Covention, when Bro Anders was State Overseer.Nabors Stated that there was no such thing
as a operation fund.Bro Anders ask the People of Ala. to give coins for a operation fund.Well the letter from the State Overseer and Nabors states for each local Church to put in coins for the building fund of the CPMA.It seems to me that is a operational fund. Would you called that an operational fund? They are asking some churches
with only 5 or 6 members for $350
and the pastor don't even get that much for tithes. But no problem as long as HDQ staff are paid don't worry abouu the local churches survival.Though I would change the subject,Comments please

The "Seven-up".

The year 2006 is started off with nothing but trouble in The church of God.Of course it has nothing to do with Headquarters. It's all the membership at large that is the problem.Tne Membership at large has no rights according to Headquarters, just simply "Do as you are told". So I've got part of the solution,
It's called "The Seven Up"

Wake-Up: Decide to have a good day.
:"This is a day that the Lord hath made;we will rejoice and be glad.Psalm 118:24.

Dress-Up: The best way to dress up is to put a smile on your face. A smile is an inexpensive way too improve you looks."...for the Lord seeth not as a man seeth; for the man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." 1 Sam 16:7

Shut-Up: Say nice things & learn and listen. God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth so he must have meant for us to do twice the listening as talking. "he that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life; but he that openeth wide with his lips shall have destruction." Proverbs.13:3

Stand-Up: For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will will fall for anything. " And let us not be weary in well doing:For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not, As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." Galatians. 6:9,10

Look-Up: to the Lord. "I can do all things through Christ which strenghteneth me." Philippians 4:13.

Reach-Up: For something higher. "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God." Colossians 3:1.

Lift-Up. Your prayers. "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6
If we do these things God will answer our problems. He love his Son's bride and He will protect it when it seems all hope is gone.Trust Him
