What's the Name all About?
When I was considering starting my own soapbox about recent events in the church I wondered how the Leadership viewed me. After I received my disfellowship "form" letter from the Kentucky state overseer it dawned on me I am just another cog in the machine to be discarded at whim. Webster defines "automaton" as: someone who acts or responds in a mechanical or apathetic way, zombie. That's what the present leadership wants of it's "members". A good member doesn't have a conscience other than the collective "mind" of the presbytery.
The General Assembly with all male members in good standing having a voice in church business has been replaced by the Orwellian idea of Big Brother ALONE represents the "Party" and any dissenters are either assimilated or eliminated.
The below illustration shows what a good member should be according to the present leadership.
This blog will present facts AND opinions, I don't have all the answers, only God has them. I am just an automaton...
